IEC 61373
Shock and vibration tests for equipment mounted on railway vehicles, by mounting category (body-, bogie- or axle-mounted) — random vibration functional and simulated long-life tests and shock.
IEC 61373 categories 1 to 3 on shakers rated to 16,000 kgf, so complete underframe assemblies can be tested rather than sub-components.
Typical products. Traction equipment, converters, brake components, axle-mounted sensors, underframe boxes.
