How we handle your information
Last updated 2026-10-18. This page describes the practice of DSRI Labs Private Limited ("DSRI"). It is not legal advice; contact info@dsri.in with questions.
What we collect
- Enquiries and requisitions — your name, organisation, email, phone, GST number, and the technical details of the unit and tests. This is what we need to review, quote and perform the work.
- Portal accounts — email address and a password (stored hashed), plus the requisitions linked to that email.
- Test data — measurements, photographs and documents generated while testing your equipment.
- Website — this site sets no tracking cookies. It uses no third-party analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; standard server logs (IP address, page requested) are kept for security.
How we use it
- To review, quote, schedule and perform tests, and to issue reports and invoices.
- To notify you about your own jobs (quotation ready, sample received, report ready).
- To meet our obligations as an accredited laboratory: ISO/IEC 17025 requires us to retain technical records, including test data and reports, for a defined period.
We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing. Enquiry and requisition data is visible only to your portal account and to the DSRI staff working on it. Test data and reports are never shared between customers.
Confidentiality & restricted programmes
Laboratory staff are bound by confidentiality undertakings. Work classified as restricted can be handled entirely within the laboratory network, without email or portal transmission — tell us at enquiry. Where a customer requires it, we sign programme-specific NDAs.
Retention
Technical records and reports are retained for the period required by our accreditation and by contract, then securely disposed of. Portal accounts can be closed on request; requisition records associated with the account are retained as technical records.

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to close your portal account. Write to info@dsri.in.
